Nose: Spiced vanilla greets the nose before giving way to cherries and mint
Palate: The cherry again shows up in the palate, along with notes of vanilla.
Comments: Jim Beam uses a process that pulls out the bourbon that was absorbed into the oak barrels during aging, and adds it back into this whiskey. I was expecting more vanilla flavors and more complexity in general from this bourbon. Devils Cut is smother and more complex than the standard Jim Beam. This bourbon is priced somewhere between bargain bourbons and premium bourbons, I just wish it came out a few dollars closer to the bargain side.

Jim Beam Distills their fine lines of bourbon here on Happy Hollow Road in good old Kentucky.
Alc/Vol: 45%
