Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage 1999

Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage 1999

  • Nose:
  • Palate:
  • Finish:

Nose: Aromas are hard to make out but notes of black cherries, and root beer eventually come though. Then very subtle notes of vanilla crème and mint appear.
Palate: Spicy heat right up front. Full-bodied. Spicy peppermint and black pepper. Coconut pops up in the finish.
Comments: The nose while pleasant is hard to coax from the glass. The palate comes off hot for a whiskey of about average strength. A good but not great whiskey.

Evan Williams bourbons are distilled at the Heaven Hill Distillery, Bardstown Kentucky. Find it here on our Distillery Map.
